Gate, garage and fence repairs in Boksburg

Gold was found here in 1887, and the town took its name from W. Eduard Bok, State Secretary of the old South African Republic. The Main Reef Road tied it to the other mining towns along the reef, and Boksburg Lake, now ringed by lawns and trees, started out as a dam that people called White's Folly until a flood filled it in 1889. Mining gave way to industry, and the town has kept both sides: the 2011 Census counted 260 321 people living in Boksburg, among its factories, yards and warehouses.
