Gate and garage repairs in Germiston

In 1886 two prospectors, John Jack and August Simmer, stopped on the farm Elandsfontein, found gold and stayed. The township they laid out took its name from Jack's family farm near Glasgow, and in 1921 the Rand Refinery opened here, the largest gold refinery in the world. The mines have long gone, but the town kept growing as a centre of steel, railways and road freight, and today it is the seat of the City of Ekurhuleni. The 2011 Census counted 255 863 people in Germiston, over about 143 km².

• How the door is used. ET won't have its motor fitted to a door with a pedestrian door built into it, unless opening that small door switches the motor off. And if the door is set to close by itself, safety beams go across the opening.
