Rivonia sits in Sandton, in the city's Region E, between two streams, the Braamfontein Spruit and the Sandspruit. On paper there's no township called Rivonia at all: the area is the original township of Edenburg, Edenburg Extension 1 and a string of smaller extensions that carry the Rivonia name.
